Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,403.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Daryoush Gharahzad have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Iranian Venus was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,024.56).
