A top price for Daryoush Gharahzad
In April 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, which included the work Iranian Venus by Daryoush Gharahzad. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,024.56), 32% above the upper estimate. With this result, Iranian Venus is even the most expensive work of art by Daryoush Gharahzad that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Daryoush Gharahzad
Im April 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian Venus von Daryoush Gharahzad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 16.024,56) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Iranian Venus sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Daryoush Gharahzad, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
