Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dawn And Dusk by Darren Almond was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,029.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Darren Almond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Months Later in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dawn And Dusk von Darren Almond kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.029,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Darren Almond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Six Months Later im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
