A top price for Daro Flood - as previously expected
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Trail to Piñon by Daro Flood. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,241.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Trail to Piñon is the most expensive artwork by Daro Flood that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trail to Piñon von Daro Flood zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.241,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Trail to Piñon das teuerste Kunstwerk von Daro Flood, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
