Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jacko by Daro Flood was sold in the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 562.50 (€ 494.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Daro Flood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trail to Piñon in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,241.53).

Die Arbeit Jacko von Daro Flood wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 562,50 (€ 494,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daro Flood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trail to Piñon im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.241,53).
