Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At The Spinning Wheel, Countryside Village by Darius Joseph Macegan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,819.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Darius Joseph Macegan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The National Gallery, Dublin in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,739.47).

Die Arbeit At The Spinning Wheel, Countryside Village von Darius Joseph Macegan kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.819,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
