Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View towards Stovbjerg (“Cinders Mountain”) and Himmelbjerget (“The Sky Mountain”) in Jutland by Dankvart Dreyer was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 50,000.00 – 75,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 40,000.00 (€ 5,369.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dankvart Dreyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Landskab med Barløse Kirke”, which sold at auction in June this year for DKK 85,000.00 (€ 11,411.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View towards Stovbjerg (“Cinders Mountain”) and Himmelbjerget (“The Sky Mountain”) in Jutland von Dankvart Dreyer im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 50.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 40.000,00 (€ 5.369,96) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dankvart Dreyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Landskab med Barløse Kirke” beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für DKK 85.000,00 (€ 11.411,17) versteigert wurde.
