Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Seiter could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings auction, the work The Judgement of Paris changed hands for GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,123.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Seiter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana Asleep In A Landscape in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 85,573.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Seiter konnte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings wechselte die Arbeit The Judgement of Paris für GBP 2.390,00 (€ 3.123,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Seiter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana Asleep In A Landscape im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 85.573,75).
