Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Samson by Daniel Seiter was sold in the Old Masters & British Paintings auction at Christies in London in April 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,850.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Seiter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diana Asleep In A Landscape in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 85,573.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Samson von Daniel Seiter wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.850,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Seiter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diana Asleep In A Landscape im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 85.573,75).
