Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and British Paintings, which included the work The Madonna At Prayer by Daniele Crespi. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,770.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniele Crespi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Flagellation Of Christ, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,109.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna At Prayer von Daniele Crespi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.770,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniele Crespi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Flagellation Of Christ beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für USD 106.250,00 (€ 94.109,83) versteigert wurde.
