Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Olympic Tower #5) from Ricas y Famosas by Daniela Rossell for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,372.67). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Daniela Rossell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Inge with Mirrors) Third World Blondes Series in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Olympic Tower #5) from Ricas y Famosas von Daniela Rossell für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.372,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniela Rossell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Inge with Mirrors) Third World Blondes Series im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42).
