Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Third World Blondes Have More Money by Daniela Rossell was sold in the Under The Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,639.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniela Rossell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Inge with Mirrors) Third World Blondes Series, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42).
