Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Gordon could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in September 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer auction, the work No Title (Alarm Clock) changed hands for USD 438.00 (€ 373.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Gordon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with House Plants and Pink Vase in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,088.64).
