Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Daniel García for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,249.04). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Daniel García have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bulbos in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,948.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Daniel García für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.249,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel García auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bulbos im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.948,26).
