In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Allegories For 'Architecture' And 'Painting And Sculpture': Two Bronzes by Daniel Chester French for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,086.66). This price was achieved in the auction American Art, Including the Collection of George S. Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Daniel Chester French have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Concord Minute Man Of 1775 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 190,600.05).
