Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soldier's Dream by Danja Akulin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,142.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Danja Akulin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Trees, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,917.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soldier's Dream von Danja Akulin kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.142,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Danja Akulin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three Trees beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.917,95) versteigert wurde.
