The work Two Dan Namingha Monotypes, "Kachina Maiden I" And "Poli Mana II," 1992 by Dan Namingha was sold in the Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,083.75 (€ 918.43), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Namingha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Kiva Dancers," 1989 in August last year with an auction result of USD 11,475.00 (€ 11,400.89).

Die Arbeit Two Dan Namingha Monotypes, "Kachina Maiden I" And "Poli Mana II," 1992 von Dan Namingha wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 918,43) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dan Namingha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Kiva Dancers," 1989 im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 11.400,89).
