In the Damien Hirst - Beautiful Inside My Head Forever (Evening Sale) auction, the work Afterlife sold for GBP 1,385,250.00 (€ 1,751,508.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Damien Hirst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

In der Auktion Damien Hirst - Beautiful Inside My Head Forever (Evening Sale) wurde die Arbeit Afterlife für GBP 1.385.250,00 (€ 1.751.508,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Damien Hirst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
