Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Untitled, 2006 by Dale Frank. It changed hands for a price of AUD 23,370.00 (€ 20,705.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Dale Frank have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Eddie T Chest the Man with a Cricket Bat Shaped Penis Helping Men Manage Their Responsibilities (The Gulf), 1997-2000 was auctioned for AUD 34,440.00 (€ 30,512.98).
