A top price for Dai Dunbang - as previously expected
The work Luohans by Dai Dunbang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 70,931.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Luohans is the most expensive artwork by Dai Dunbang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Luohans von Dai Dunbang kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 70.931,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Luohans das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dai Dunbang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
