Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Seated At A Table Which Bears A Compass by Crispijn de Passe I was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,990.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Crispijn de Passe I have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A nocturnal serenade in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,030.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Seated At A Table Which Bears A Compass von Crispijn de Passe I kam im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.990,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Crispijn de Passe I auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A nocturnal serenade im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.030,50).
