Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1976 by Costas Tsoclis. The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Costas Tsoclis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Boat in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1976 von Costas Tsoclis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Costas Tsoclis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Boat im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05).
