In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Chios, 2000/ La visite du Dimanche by Costas Papanikolaou. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 14,025.00 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Costas Papanikolaou have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,099.62) in November 2018 for the work Aegean landscape.

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chios, 2000/ La visite du Dimanche von Costas Papanikolaou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 14.025,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Costas Papanikolaou haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.099,62) im November 2018 für die Arbeit Aegean landscape beobachtet.
