Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ragazzo con strumento musicale by Corrado Cagli was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2008. The price achieved of EUR 12,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Corrado Cagli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Spie Al Palo, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 47,120.00.
