In July 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Portrait of a lady, half-length, in a richly embroidered lace dress with red sleeves, gold earrings, holding a pearled salver with jasmine flowers, in a sculpted cartouche by Cornelis Schut III. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,379.57), 50% above the upper estimate.
