This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Drawings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Kruseman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Savoyards et Italiennes: the musical gathering in May 2009 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.
