A top price for Cornelis Vroom - as previously expected
In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction The Martin Feldstein Collection: Dutch Art in the Golden Age, which included the work A wooded landscape with travelers by Cornelis Vroom. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,929.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A wooded landscape with travelers is the most expensive artwork by Cornelis Vroom that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Martin Feldstein Collection: Dutch Art in the Golden Age durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded landscape with travelers von Cornelis Vroom zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.929,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
