Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,781.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Vroom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A wooded landscape with travelers, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,929.51).
