Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A house in a wooded river landscape with a washerwoman in the foreground by Cornelis Decker. The price achieved of EUR 5,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Decker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A river landscape with a woman at the door of a cottage and a fisherman bringing in his catch in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 56,440.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A house in a wooded river landscape with a washerwoman in the foreground von Cornelis Decker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Decker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A river landscape with a woman at the door of a cottage and a fisherman bringing in his catch im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 56.440,28).
