The work Still Life With A Lobster, A Peeled Lemon On A Pewter Plater, A Roemer, And Fruits On A Stone Ledge With A Green Drape by Cornelis de Heem was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,223.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Cornelis de Heem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life Of Roses, Poppies, Lillies And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Marble Shelf; Beneath A Partly Peeled Orange And Fraises De Bois In A Wan Li Porcelain Dish, Both On A Projecting Marble Ledge in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 749,000.00 (€ 554,814.81).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 124.223,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%.
