Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 70,368.88). Admittedly, works by Cornelis de Heem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life Of Roses, Poppies, Lillies And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Marble Shelf; Beneath A Partly Peeled Orange And Fraises De Bois In A Wan Li Porcelain Dish, Both On A Projecting Marble Ledge in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 749,000.00 (€ 554,814.81).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 70.368,88) einen neuen Besitzer.
