Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,320.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Bouter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The sewing lesson in September 2003 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 8,876.59).
