Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Farmers at work in a dune landscape by Cor Bouter. The price achieved of EUR 1,792.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cor Bouter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Mother'S Joy, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 6,600.00.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farmers at work in a dune landscape von Cor Bouter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.792,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cor Bouter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Mother'S Joy beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 6.600,00 versteigert wurde.
