Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harmony by Constantinos Parthenis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,250.00 (€ 84,004.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constantinos Parthenis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek The Virgin And Child in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 670,100.00 (€ 938,313.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Harmony von Constantinos Parthenis wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.250,00 (€ 84.004,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constantinos Parthenis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek The Virgin And Child im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 670.100,00 (€ 938.313,36).
