Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Still Life With Easel And Fruit by Constantinos Parthenis was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 204,635.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Constantinos Parthenis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek The Virgin And Child in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 670,100.00 (€ 938,313.36).

Die Arbeit Greek Still Life With Easel And Fruit von Constantinos Parthenis kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 204.635,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantinos Parthenis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek The Virgin And Child im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 670.100,00 (€ 938.313,36).
