Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with Sheep by Constant Troyon for USD 750.00 (€ 672.40). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant Troyon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 49,706.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with Sheep von Constant Troyon für USD 750,00 (€ 672,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant Troyon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 49.706,49).
