A top price for Constant Troyon - as previously expected
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) by Constant Troyon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 49,706.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) is the most expensive artwork by Constant Troyon that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) von Constant Troyon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 49.706,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
