The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,189.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Constant Troyon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French a Seated Basset Hound (Un Basset Artésian Normand, Assis) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 49,706.49).
