Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Naples with Mount Vesuvius beyond by Consalvo Carelli was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,081.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Consalvo Carelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2001 the work Napoli, veduta del Golfo was auctioned for ITL 29,400,000.00 (€ 26,424.00).

Die Arbeit Naples with Mount Vesuvius beyond von Consalvo Carelli kam im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.081,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Consalvo Carelli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2001 die Arbeit Napoli, veduta del Golfo für ITL 29.400.000,00 (€ 26.424,00) versteigert.
