Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Consalvo Carelli could be acquired at Christies in Rome in November 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Bordighera changed hands for EUR 620.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Consalvo Carelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Napoli, veduta del Golfo in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 29,400,000.00 (€ 26,424.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Consalvo Carelli konnte im November 2004 bei Christies in Rom für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wechselte die Arbeit Bordighera für EUR 620,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Consalvo Carelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Napoli, veduta del Golfo im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 29.400.000,00 (€ 26.424,00).
