Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Western Art, which included the work Spring Highlights by Conrad Schwiering. The price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,858.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Conrad Schwiering - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn in the High Country, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,922.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Highlights von Conrad Schwiering zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 13.858,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Conrad Schwiering mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn in the High Country beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.922,68) versteigert wurde.
