This artwork by Conrad Schwiering achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. In the Western Art auction, the work After a Squall sold for USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,082.09) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Schwiering have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn in the High Country in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,922.68).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Conrad Schwiering erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Western Art wurde die Arbeit After a Squall für USD 5.355,00 (€ 5.082,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Schwiering auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn in the High Country im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.922,68).
