Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Conor Dowdle could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction, the work Stranger (Beach Portrait), 2020-2021 changed hands for USD 191.25 (€ 178.22) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Conor Dowdle have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Lions in the Park, 2019 at USD 318.75 (€ 297.04).
