Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Co Breman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in July 2009. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Dutch Voorjaar Aan Den Rijn sold for EUR 17,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Co Breman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Palmzondag (Laren), which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 38,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Co Breman erzielte im Juli 2009 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Dutch Voorjaar Aan Den Rijn für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Co Breman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Palmzondag (Laren) beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
