Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work Two Jays Visiting by Clyde Hopkins. The price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by Clyde Hopkins have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Mon Oncle was auctioned for GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,547.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Jays Visiting von Clyde Hopkins zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Clyde Hopkins konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Mon Oncle für GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.547,55) versteigert.
