In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Dorset Coast, Near Lulworth by Clifford Hall. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 896.25 (€ 1,289.95), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Clifford Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Resting nude in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,650.82).

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dorset Coast, Near Lulworth von Clifford Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 896,25 (€ 1.289,95) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clifford Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Resting nude im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.650,82).
