Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Teschio - 2014 by Clet Abraham was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,340.00. Other works by Clet Abraham have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April last year by the work Kiss - 2017 at EUR 3,542.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Teschio - 2014 von Clet Abraham im Februar 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.340,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Clet Abraham wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April letzten Jahres die Arbeit Kiss - 2017 mit EUR 3.542,00.
