A top price for Cleon Peterson - as previously expected
The work The Converter by Cleon Peterson was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 73,526.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Converter is the most expensive artwork by Cleon Peterson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Converter von Cleon Peterson kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 73.526,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Converter das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cleon Peterson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
