The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,549.28), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claudio Ridolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Federico Ubaldo Della Rovere in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 210,902.23).

Die Arbeit The Madonna and Child with Saint Dominic von Claudio Ridolfi wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Old Master & British Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert.
