Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Bougeoir by Claude Viseux for EUR 787.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Viseux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Femme, 1964, which sold at auction in February 2007 for EUR 2,466.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bougeoir von Claude Viseux für EUR 787,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Viseux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Femme, 1964 beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für EUR 2.466,00 versteigert wurde.
